The Hurtigruten coastal liner stops in Rorvik, and the northbound and southbound ships meet in the evening. Rorvik is a port village in central Norway’s Nord-Trndelag county, surrounded by thousands of islands. The settlement also acts as the municipality’s administrative center. Rorvik is located on the island of Inner-Vikna on the eastern side of the Vikna archipelago, on the western shore of the Naerysundet Strait, facing the mainland on the eastern border of the strait. Even at 65°N, the climate is maritime, and many private gardens include plum and apple trees. Vikna is ideal for anyone interested in wildlife as well as deep-sea fishing, diving, canoeing, and kayaking.
