If river fishing is poor, many people choose an excursion to Romsdalsfjord instead. The journey out on the fjord is an adventure in and of itself, and the fishing can be excellent at times. In pleasant weather, there is no better way to unwind than in a secluded fjord while enjoying some shrimp and a cold beverage. As an alternative, you may try your hand at crawfish fishing in Isfjorden. Between Isfjorden and Andalsnes, the depth of the fjord does not exceed 40 meters. Crawfish pots are left for two to three days, and the maximum number of crawfish ever caught in a single set of seven pots is more than thirty.
