Hamburg Cruise Port, Germany

HamburgHamburg, the second-largest city in Germany, is on both sides of the Elbe River and is fondly referred to as the “Gateway to the World” due to its historic maritime past and status as one of Europe’s most important ports. Because of this connection to the sea, Hamburg has become a premier destination for those interested in nautical history and fine dining.

Hamburg’s Maritime Circle Line shuttle service connects the city’s major maritime landmarks, making it the ideal way to see the city and learn about its rich history and culture. The International Maritime Museum is one place you should spend some time at in greater depth since it houses the largest collection of model ships and other artifacts pertaining to the navigation of the oceans throughout its ten levels.

The St. Michaeliskirche is one of the many magnificent historic churches in Hamburg. Outside of that, Miniatur-Wunderland is a great spot for adults to act like kids again because it has wonderful model railways and miniature mountain sceneries.
